Take the scenic route: a safari tour operator site that started life on WordPress and was rebuilt as a static Nuxt application.

Classic Explorers has been a client since 2022. The first site was a WordPress build on a purchased travel theme with Elementor and a booking engine. It did its job, but every plugin update was a small gamble and the pages were heavy.

In 2025 the site was rebuilt from scratch in Nuxt 4 as a statically prerendered application: bespoke trips, unique stays, a journal and enquiry forms, all with the same content but a fraction of the weight. Analytics run through GA4, Google Ads, a TripAdvisor widget and Mixpanel so the team can see which trips convert.

A further rebuild, on Nuxt with Firebase behind an admin tour manager, is in progress on a staging domain.
