Portfolio, gallery and merch site for the Kenyan artist Cyprian Kharsh, home of the Mathogothanio and Tuktuk series.

Kharsh paints bold, dense, joyful canvases of Nairobi life. The site had to get out of the way of the work: an all-artwork index, featured pieces, exhibitions, awards, a bio and an apparel line.

It is a Nuxt 3 build with lightgallery for the full-screen viewer and Swiper for the featured carousels. The artist's signature was vectorised into the logo and sits on his signature yellow throughout.

First launched in 2023, the site was refactored in 2026 with typed constants for the artwork catalogue so new series can be added without touching components.
